[Jan-Feb] This winter has been extremely busy for 1st Haney. All sections have been camping, with Troop back-packing at the BCIT Woodlot, Cubs also stayed in Woodlot, Beavers attended the Area Sleepover and Science World Sleepover, and Venturers & Rovers went to Rovent in Manning Park!  Beavers and Cubs also went snowshoeing on Mt. Seymour, and Cubs tried out Curling at the local curling club. Beavers had some messy fun at the 4 Cats Art Studio in Maple Ridge.

We held our annual Baden Powell Founder’s Day Banquet at Camp Whonnock. Over 125 in attendance to celebrate this special day in the Scouting calendar. Bars to the Medal of Good Service were awarded to Christ and Phil Goncalves, with the Medal of Good Service awarded to David Meunier and Colin Morrow.
